Powell: Fed Officials Don’t Expect Rate Cuts This Year
“At the end of the day we will do enough to bring inflation down to 2%,” Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell says during a news conference after the FOMC voted unanimously to increase its target for the federal funds rate to a range of 4.75% to 5%.
